Engineer - Anode Caster Operations

Job description

**Roles and Responsibilities** - Operate anode furnaces to produce high-quality molten metal. - Monitor and control the refining pyrometallurgical process, ensuring optimal conditions for slag formation. - Conduct quality control checks on castings, including defect management and analysis of slag and melt samples. - Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues related to process control systems (DCS operation) and oxidation/reduction processes. - Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all aspects of anode caster operations. **Desired Candidate Profile** - 4-8 years of experience in anode casting or similar role in the metals industry. - Diploma holder in Chemical or Metallurgy field; knowledge of relevant theories and principles preferred. - Strong understanding of anode furnace operation, refining pyrometallurgical process, DCS system operation, slag handling, molten metal handling, and quality control procedures.
