Engineer - Anode Furnace Operations

Job description

**Roles and Responsibilities** - Operate anode furnaces to produce high-quality products, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. - Monitor and control the refining pyrometallurgical process, including oxidation and reduction steps. - Conduct slag and melt sample analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot issues related to furnace operations, process control systems, and DCS operation. - Maintain accurate records of production data, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance. **Desired Candidate Profile** - 4-8 years of experience in anode furnace operations or a related field (metallurgy). - Diploma in Chemical or Metallurgy from a recognized institution. - Strong understanding of refining pyrometallurgical processes, including oxidation and reduction techniques. - Proficiency in operating DCS systems for controlling furnace operations.
