Engineer - Granulation Operation

**Role & responsibilities** The Slag Granulation System Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the slag granulation equipment, which cools and processes molten slag into granulated slag further tranferes to physical Separation System for separating metals from slag materials based on physical properties such as density, metal entrapment, or particle size for reuse. The operator ensures efficient operation, safety compliance, and quality control of the granulation process. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during shift operations. Promote a safety culture by implementing and enforcing safety practices in DMT. Granulation Operation :Operate slag granulation equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor temperature, flow rates, and cooling water supply to ensure optimal slag granulation. Manage slag handling and transfer from the furnace to the granulation system. Inspect granulated slag for quality, size, and moisture content. Maintenance Management: Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and corrective maintenance. Report any abnormalities or malfunctions promptly to AET Team/manager. Reporting and Documentation: Record production data, including quantities processed, temperature readings, and any operational issues. **Preferred candidate profile** Candidates having experience in similar industry with atleast 3-4 yrs of experience and mandatory qualification in Diploma - Chemical or Metallurgy.
