Roles and Responsibilities • Operate Kaldo furnaces to produce high-quality steel products. • Monitor and control combustion, slag handling, and process parameters to ensure optimal performance. • Troubleshoot issues with lance and burners, DCS operation, and other equipment related to furnace operation. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols. • Ensure compliance with quality standards by monitoring furnace conditions, temperature control, and product specifications.
