FEA Analyst - Gas Turbine - HCL, Bangalore

Job description

Qualification/Requirements • Should have B Tech or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as a subject • Strong FEA Expertise in Gas Turbine industry (Must have) • Good experience in Ansys Workbench and APDL • Good in engineering basics. Required Skills • Must have atleast 3 year experience in Gas Turbine domain or similar industry. • Good knowledge of Strength of Materials, failure criteria, engineering mechanics. • Computer proficiency and strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems. • Structural (linear and non-linear), thermo-structural, fatigue analysis • Ability to handle large assemblies • Exposure to API 6A • Hands on experience in Ansys Workbench and development of macros using Ansys APDL • Highly proactive and results oriented. • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong oral and written communication skills Job Responsibilities • To report to Senior Analysis Engineer • Perform FEA activities such as Preprocessing, Solution and Post processing. • Perform Hand calculations. • Prepare simulation reports. • Provide inputs for design improvements
