Firmware Test Automation Engineer

**Key Skills:**Zigbee, C#, Labview, BLE, Python, I2C, WiFi, IOS, UART, Jenkins, SPI, Testing, CICD, Jira, Confluence, Android, AWS **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Architect, design, develop, test, and validate firmware and software test automation solutions for connected products. - Build automated test procedures and support manufacturing test workflows to improve repeatability and cycle time. - Develop end-to-end test solutions for IoT devices and mobile services, including interactions across hardware, firmware, and mobile/cloud interfaces. - Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD processes (e.g., nightly builds) to support consistent quality releases. - Develop or manage third-party test automation tools and mentor internal/offshore firmware test teams. **Skills Required:** - 5-8 years of professional firmware engineering and test automation experience. - Python, C#, and LabVIEW experience for building and maintaining test automation frameworks. - Test automation for networked devices using WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, and/or Z-Wave. - Hands-on experience with chip-to-chip interfaces including I2C for device communication and validation. - Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows and producing clear test reporting/metrics. Good to Have: - SPI, UART, DevOps practices, and experience with common CI/CD tooling (Jenkins/Travis) and test management tools (TestLink). - Experience with Confluence and Jira for documentation and issue/test tracking. - Exposure to iOS/Android mobile applications and AWS-based services/APIs. **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
