Tag Management Engineer

Job description

Key Skills: Tag management, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, GTM Roles and Responsibilities: • Configure, implement, and maintain tags, triggers, and variables using tag management systems such as Adobe Launch and Google Tag Manager. • Collaborate with marketing, analytics, and development teams to gather and define tracking requirements. • Implement and validate analytics tags and marketing pixels to ensure accurate data collection. • Design, implement, and maintain data layers for consistent and scalable tracking. • Test and troubleshoot tag firing issues using browser developer tools and debugging utilities. • Ensure tagging implementations comply with data privacy regulations including GDPR and CCPA. • Monitor tag performance and optimize implementations to minimize impact on site speed and performance. • Maintain detailed documentation of tagging configurations, standards, and best practices. Skills Required: • Strong experience in tag management and digital tracking implementations across websites and mobile applications. • Hands-on expertise with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch for tag configuration and deployment. • Good working knowledge of Google Tag Manager and other tag management systems. • Strong understanding of data layers and event-based tracking models. • Experience implementing analytics tags and marketing pixels across multiple platforms. • Ability to test, debug, and troubleshoot tagging issues using browser developer tools and debugging utilities. • Good understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA and their impact on tagging implementations. • Experience documenting tagging standards, processes, and best practices. • Strong collaboration skills with marketing, analytics, and development teams. Education: B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, M.E., M.S., or M.Sc. in Software Technology or a related field.
