Roles & Responsibilities Electrical & Instrumentation Design Engineer • Design and develop Electrical & Instrumentation systems for Oil & Gas EPC projects. • Prepare SLDs, Load Lists, Cable Schedules, Instrument Index and I/O Lists. • Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, load flow and short-circuit calculations. • Develop earthing, lighting, equipment layout and cable routing designs. • Prepare instrument datasheets, hook-ups, control system architecture and Cause & Effect diagrams. • Prepare technical specifications, MTO/BOQ, MR and TBE for E&I equipment. • Review vendor drawings, datasheets and engineering documents. • Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil and other engineering disciplines. • Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NFPA, API, ISA and client specifications. • Support procurement, construction, commissioning and site engineering activities. • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and design review meetings. • Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables as per project quality and schedule requirements.
