Job Responsibilities - Champion Electrical Safety: Spearhead initiatives to enhance electrical safety across the plant, ensuring a secure working environment for all. Lead the charge in reducing accidents and promoting a culture of proactive risk management within the Electrical and Instrumentation department. - Drive Operational Excellence: Take ownership of electrical maintenance and project implementation across various plant divisions, including TBR and PCR production areas. Focus on minimizing downtime, optimizing energy consumption, and reducing scrap through continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead Transformative Projects: Manage and execute high-impact electrical projects, such as master protocol changes, motor replacements, and infrastructure upgrades. Oversee the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance plant efficiency and productivity. - Foster a Culture of Improvement: Champion Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) to optimize processes and drive significant impact on gross margin and top-line growth. Lead by example, inspiring your team to embrace innovation and achieve ambitious targets. - Develop and Empower Your Team: Nurture a high-performing team by providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the tyre industry. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. - Experience in managing and executing complex electrical projects. - Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and driving results.
