Role & responsibilities Major responsibilities: 1. Head of Financial Accounting, GST & Logistics. 2. Accounting for both Manufacturing Plant & Godown business 3. Financial Accounting a) Purchase Payable Accounts a1) Monitoring through subordinates bill booking, supplier payments, vendor account reconciliation, advances a2) Interacting with Corporate teams in case of development activities, vendor related matters etc., a3) Preparing funds forecast and support corporate treasury in funds planning. b) Receivables Accounts b1) Monitoring through subordinates day to day function of Sales Accounting, Invoicing, Stock Transfers, collection documents. b2) Through understanding of Dealers policy, Warranty policy, b3) Understanding Discounts & Special schemes circulars released time to time by Sales , monitoring provisions and payouts b4) Co-ordinate with 24 godowns to -- Resolve customer complaints, tax related matters, guiding & advising them on subject matters from time to time. c) Fixed assets management Monitoring through subordinates Capitalisation, physical verification, retirement etc. d) Payroll accounting - Monitoring through subordinates - accounting, payments & complainces. e) Compliance Ensuring adherence to authority matrix in day to day accounting alongwith compliance to relevant accounting standards. Guiding the team to comply with GST in coordination with corporate GST team. Ensuring timely payment of statutory dues, return filing and data submission to authorities. 4. Individual Responsibility – a) MIS Reporting a1) Preparation of monthly P&L statement, estimating & accounting of provisions. a2) Interacting with Controlling department for variance analysis. b) GL scrutiny, exception analysis, open item review and clearing. e) Single window for Conducting & Finalisation Tax audit. f) Finalisation of plant Accounts, single window for annual & quarterly closure of books & review by statutory auditors. Preferred candidate profile Requirement profile: Formal education: A Chartered Accountant. Professional experience: 8 to 9 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry. Defined competencies: • Regular updating of knowledge including direct & indirect taxes • Team Leadership • Timeliness & Multi tasking. • Communication with internal & external customers including Govt. authorities • Ability to structured analysis of complex issues • Knowledge of key financial figures and able to interpret the figures • Conflict Management & Conflict resolution • Big picture thinking • Presentation skill
