Job Purpose Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development initiatives for nursing staff across Aster DM Quality Care to strengthen clinical excellence, patient safety, regulatory compliance, leadership capability, and continuous professional development. Qualifications B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory); M.Sc. Nursing preferred. MBA/PG in Hospital Administration or HR is desirable. Certification in Clinical Education, BLS/ACLS, NABH/JCI training preferred. Experience 812 years of nursing experience including 5+ years in nursing education, clinical training, or nursing L&D within a multispecialty hospital. Key Responsibilities - Develop annual Nursing Learning & Development strategy aligned with organizational goals. • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) for nursing staff. • Design and deliver induction, clinical competency, leadership, and mandatory training programs. • Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and statutory learning requirements. • Develop competency frameworks and skill matrices for nursing roles. • Coordinate simulation-based learning and clinical skill assessments. • Monitor mandatory certifications (BLS, ACLS, infection control, patient safety). • Evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick methodology and learning analytics. • Partner with Nursing Leadership to improve clinical competency and patient outcomes. • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) content for nursing programs. • Build leadership development programs for Charge Nurses and Nurse Managers. • Maintain training records, audits, and accreditation documentation. • Manage external faculty, universities, and professional bodies. • Prepare L&D dashboards and reports for senior leadership.
