Job Purpose: To act as the single point owner for the end-to-end management of all Mahindra Lifespaces-owned assets, machinery, equipment, formwork systems, and project materials across their lifecycle, ensuring optimal inventory control, material availability, asset utilization, governance compliance, and accurate reporting to support seamless project execution. Principal Accountabilities: 1. Asset Lifecycle Management • Own and manage the complete lifecycle of MLDL-owned assets including machinery, cranes, Alu Form systems, and other capital equipment from procurement to deployment, maintenance, transfer, and disposal. • Maintain asset records, movement logs, utilization tracking, and disposal documentation. 2. Material Planning & Coordination • Coordinate with project, procurement, and execution teams for forecasting and material planning requirements. • Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment to avoid project delays and disruptions. • Monitor material demand against planned schedules and inventory levels. 3. Inventory Management & Control • Implement robust inventory control mechanisms for all construction materials, consumables, tools, and assets. • Maintain optimum stock levels through regular monitoring and replenishment planning. • Minimize material losses, wastage, pilferage, and obsolescence. 4. Receipt, Storage & Issue Authorization • Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials as per approved processes. • Authorize material receipts and issues ensuring compliance with project requirements and inventory policies. • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of all inventory transactions. 5. Stock Reconciliation & Verification • Conduct monthly stock reconciliation of physical inventory against SAP/system balances. • Lead periodic inventory verification exercises and resolve discrepancies through corrective actions. • Ensure inventory accuracy and timely closure of reconciliation variances. 6. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination • Coordinate with vendors, transporters, service providers, procurement teams, and project stakeholders for smooth material and asset movement. • Track vendor deliveries and ensure adherence to committed timelines and quality requirements. 7. MIS & Reporting • Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports covering inventory levels, asset utilization, stock ageing, material consumption, reconciliation status, and key operational metrics. • Provide actionable insights to project and management teams for effective decision-making. 8. SAP Management • Ensure timely and accurate SAP transactions related to material receipts, issues, transfers, returns, inventory adjustments, and asset records. • Maintain data integrity and ensure system compliance across all store operations. 9. Audit, Compliance & Governance • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and governance standards. • Support internal, external, and process audits through timely documentation and closure of audit observations. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen stores processes and controls. Qualification & Experience: • B.E Civil/M.E Civil • 810 relevant experience in Stores, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Asset Management, or Material Management within the Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or Manufacturing sectors
