1. Project Planning & Mobilisation • Take over projects postfinancial closure / internal approval and prepare detailed execution plan. • Finalize project schedules, construction methodology, and milestone tracking aligned with SCOD. • Coordinate land availability, connectivity readiness, and statutory prerequisites before mobilization. 2. EPC & Vendor Management • Lead coordination with EPC contractors, package vendors, and BOQ suppliers. • Monitor EPC performance on cost, schedule, quality, and safety. • Review and approve execution drawings, method statements, and construction schedules. • Drive resolution of interface risks across civil, electrical, transmission and evacuation scopes. 3. Engineering & Design Coordination • Ensure engineering designs comply with approved technical standards and tender specifications. • Coordinate value engineering without compromising performance, compliance, or reliability. • Ensure design freeze in line with procurement and construction timelines. 4. Construction & Site Execution • Oversee construction activities including civil works, module/WTG installation, electrical works, pooling stations, and evacuation lines. • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and statutory norms at all project sites. • Monitor daily / weekly progress and initiate corrective action for slippages. 5. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance • Coordinate with internal and external teams for compliance with MNRE, CEA, CERC/SERC, STU/CTU, DISCOM, and state renewable policies. • Ensure all approvals, inspections, and certifications required for commissioning are obtained on time. • Support open access, captive and group captive regulatory requirements for C&I projects. 6. Testing, Commissioning & SCOD • Lead testing, synchronization, and commissioning activities with grid authorities. • Ensure project commissioning within contractual and regulatory timelines. • Facilitate documentation and handover for COD declaration and operational readiness. 7. Cost, Schedule & Risk Management • Track project cost against approved capex and flag deviations proactively. • Identify execution risks and implement mitigation strategies early. • Support claims management, variation approvals, and dispute resolution with EPC/vendors. 8. InterDepartment & Stakeholder Coordination • Coordinate closely with Land, BD, Commercial, Legal, Connectivity, Finance and O&M teams. • Act as single point of responsibility for execution status to senior management. • Prepare structured MIS, dashboards, and management updates Key Skills & Competencies • Strong understanding of solar, wind and hybrid project execution. • Handson EPC management and site execution exposure. • Knowledge of regulatory, grid, and commissioning requirements. • Strong planning, coordination, and problemsolving capability. • Ability to manage multiple projects across locations. Qualification & Experience • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical preferred). • Manager: 8–10 years of experience in RE / power project execution • AGM: 12–18+ years of experience in largescale power / renewable projects • Experience with C&I, utilityscale solar/wind, or hybrid projects preferred.
