We are looking for a hands-on and data-driven Marketing / Product Analyst who can convert marketing, product, and customer data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Business teams to analyse acquisition channels, campaign performance, user behaviour, conversion funnels, engagement, retention, and revenue. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving ambiguous problems, and taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment. Roles and Responsibilities - Analyse the complete customer journey, from lead generation and acquisition to engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue. - Track and analyse marketing performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, organic, social, referral, and other acquisition channels. - Monitor key marketing metrics, including impressions, clicks, CPL, CAC, conversion rates, ROAS, ROI, and lead quality. - Use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, user behaviour, traffic sources, landing-page performance, and conversion events. - Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker Studio and Metabase. - Analyse product and marketing funnels to identify drop-offs, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. - Conduct customer segmentation, cohort, retention, and behavioural analyses. - Partner with Marketing and Product teams to define metrics and measure the impact of campaigns, product changes, and experiments. - Support A/B testing by defining success metrics, analysing results, and recommending next steps. - Extract, organise, and analyse data from AWS-based data sources and internal systems. - Create trackers, reports, and lightweight analytical models using Google Sheets. - Automate recurring reports and reduce dependency on manual data extraction. - Validate data accuracy and investigate inconsistencies across dashboards, advertising platforms, and internal reports. - Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders. - Proactively identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities through data. Requirements - 1 3 years of experience in marketing analytics, product analytics, growth analytics, business analytics, or a similar role. - Strong hands-on knowledge of SQL. - Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports using **Looker Studio and Metabase** . - Experience working with **Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics** data. - Strong working knowledge of **Google Sheets** , including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning, and reporting. - Exposure to extracting or analysing data hosted on **AWS** . - Good understanding of marketing funnels, product funnels, customer journeys, and conversion metrics. - Understanding of metrics such as CPL, CAC, ROAS, ROI, conversion rate, retention, engagement, and lifetime value. - Ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities and ambiguous business problems. - High ownership, agility, curiosity, and bias for action. Good to Have - Experience with product analytics or engagement tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, MoEngage, or CleverTap. - Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation. - Experience with campaign attribution, cohort analysis, experimentation, and A/B testing. - Familiarity with AWS services such as Redshift, Athena, S3, or QuickSight. - Prior experience in an EdTech, consumer internet, SaaS, e-commerce, or high-growth startup. What Success Looks Like - Marketing and Product teams have reliable visibility into their key metrics. - Campaign, channel, and product decisions are supported by data rather than assumptions. - Funnel leakages and growth opportunities are identified proactively. - Dashboards and reports are accurate, automated, and easy for stakeholders to use. - Insights lead to measurable improvements in acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, or revenue.
