**Experience: 3 to 12 years** **Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering** **Location: Puducherry (Thirubhuvanai)** **Responsibilities:** - **Raise and release Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP/MRP** - **Ensure timely material availability for production** - **Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery** - **Avoid production stoppage due to material shortage** - **Coordinate with planning/production team** - **Monitor and clear material shortages** - **Negotiate with suppliers (price, payment, delivery)** - **Work on cost reduction (SOB / alternate source)** - **Maintain good supplier relationship** - **Control inventory and avoid excess stock** - **Maintain proper records and system updates** **Desired Profile:** - **Candidate from auto components industry background preferred** - **Strong in vendor and supplier management** - **Good in communication and coordination** - **Skilled in data management and negotiation**
