Job description

Experience: 3 to 12 years Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering Location: Puducherry (Thirubhuvanai) Responsibilities: • Raise and release Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP/MRP • Ensure timely material availability for production • Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery • Avoid production stoppage due to material shortage • Coordinate with planning/production team • Monitor and clear material shortages • Negotiate with suppliers (price, payment, delivery) • Work on cost reduction (SOB / alternate source) • Maintain good supplier relationship • Control inventory and avoid excess stock • Maintain proper records and system updates Desired Profile: • Candidate from auto components industry background preferred • Strong in vendor and supplier management • Good in communication and coordination • Skilled in data management and negotiation
