Job Position Summary • To support the Maintenance Control Centre duty manager in monitoring aircraft technical status, coordinating defect rectification activities, ensuring timely maintenance actions, and maintaining fleet airworthiness and operational reliability. Desired Qualification / certifications • Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance engineering or equivalent technical qualification. Work experience • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance, Line Maintenance, or MCC operations. • Experience on modern commercial aircraft is desirable. • Technical Knowledge • Understanding the following is highly desirable. • Aircraft systems and maintenance practices • MEL/CDL procedures • Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM) • Fault Isolation Manuals (FIM) • Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) • Aircraft maintenance information systems (e.g., AMOS) Key responsibilities • Monitor the real-time technical status of aircraft across the network. • Review aircraft defects, maintenance messages, ACARS relays, and delay information. • Maintain awareness of fleet serviceability, MEL/CDL items, deferred defects, and operational limitations. • Coordinate with stores about spare movement troubleshooting and rectification activities for technical defects reported by line stations. • Assist MCC DM with review of defect history and technical data to facilitate effective fault isolation and repair. • Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery activities by coordinating, spares, tools, and technical literature support. • Monitor progress of rectification activities and provide status updates. • Assist in arranging routing of spares, tooling, and specialist support to operational stations when required. • Monitor MEL, CDL, deferred maintenance records, and conditional release items. • Daily review of open MEL & ensure technical restrictions is properly recorded and documented in records and MM. • Follow up to ensure records are reconciled & updated post rectification. • Assist MCC DM in following activities • Maintain MCC handover logs, technical records, event reports, and production reports. • Raise and track MCC raised work orders and provide feedback regarding the status of MCC DM. • Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations, company procedures, MOE, CAME, and MCC manuals. • Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) activities and reporting.
