Job Title: Senior Tech Lead Mechanical Engineering (Semiconductor Domain) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Senior Tech Lead with a strong background in Sheet Metal Design, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Value Engineering, and Team Management. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers in the design and development of semiconductor equipment components. • Drive Sheet Metal Design projects from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. • Apply DFMA/ DFX principles to optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency and quality. • Implement Value Engineering and Value Addition techniques to enhance product performance and reduce costs. • Review and enforce Drawing standards, GD&T, and documentation best practices. • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, thermal, and systems engineering teams. • Customer Interface, requirement gathering, status update till delivery. • Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet business goals. • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analysis for design issues. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelors or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering • 3 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the semiconductor domain, Ion Implanter experience. • Thorough knowledge in Manufacturing processes, heat treatment, Materials • Proven expertise in Sheet Metal Design, DFX, and Value Engineering. • Strong understanding of Mechanical drawing standards, GD&T, PLM & CAD tools (Creo Windchill) • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
