MIS and Budgeting Manager

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Pass Journal Voucher (JV) entries after reviewing against supporting documents. Provide logic and justification for adjustments, provisions, and corrections, transfers etc. Follow up with respective stakeholders for clarifications, where required. • Make necessary adjustments to calculate Net Earned Premium (NEP) and conduct NEP accounting. • Provide necessary documentation and reports for statutory audits and CAG queries. Respond to queries and drive resolution. • Conduct data validation for premium and claims registers along other manual data. Review transactions and reach out to respective stakeholders for clarification of queries. • Collate various accounting and financial reports to create monthly financial reports and financial summaries for Management review. • Conduct detailed analysis and prepare company profitability statements. Slice and dice data to prepare cuts by channel, sub channel, LOB, location, intermediary, make/ model, product etc. • Engage with business leaders to walk them through the monthly MIS reports to enable effective decision making. • Respond to queries on MIS and requests for additional MIS from Management and respective departments.
