Role: MS SQL Server Database Administrator Location- Gr Noida Experience: 7-14yrs years Shift: 24\\*7 (Rotational shifts) REQUIRED SKILLS Work from office is mandatory (WFH is not available on this position). Candidate should possess 8+ years of working experience as a SQL DBA. Should be ready to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems. Able to handle production issue Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure/AWS). Strong experience with SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019; familiarity with SQL Server 2022. Experience in SQL Server upgradation and Migration projects. Good experience in SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, Policy Management & performance tuning/optimization. Perform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning. Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to ensure high availability and reliability. Design and implement database maintenance plans, including index optimization and statistics updates. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments and database changes. Ensure database security, compliance, and access control policies are enforced. Automate routine tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, or cloud-native tools. Experience in Migration of databases from on-premises to cloud platforms (Azure SQL, Amazon RDS, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including connectivity, performance, replication, Always-on problems. Good working experience of T-SQL (Indexes, Triggers, Functions, Packages and Procedures) Good in SQL query tuning and schema refinement Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and standards. Good understanding of Linked Servers and Aliases Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes Experience with Windows Servers & AD. Strong communication Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-starter capable of working independently. Experience in serving clients using ITIL (Incident, Change & Problem Management) process. Good client-facing and internal communication skills Good written and verbal communication skills Flexible team player with perseverance to deliver at any cost. Ability to organize and plan work independently. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
