**About the Business** Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. The Tata Group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents, with the mission 'To improve the quality of life of the communities we serve globally, through long term stakeholder value creation based on leadership with Trust.’ A **Network Lead** will be primarily responsible for: 1. New network deployments (active & passive) and handling network operations leading the team 2. Collaborate with all plant network operations teams and leads 3. Ensure network & security availability/compliance is maintained across TEPL IT Infrastructure 4. Lead implementation of Network and security solutions across TEPL IT landscape. **Key Responsibilities** **Network Deployment & Setup** - Deploy active network components for new setups and line conversions. Implement TEPL standards for device hardening - Establish passive IT infrastructure for shop floors - Support PoC for new network solutions - Build enterprise Fiber backbone with redundancy and provision ISP Internet/WAN links. **Operations & Support** - Manage network support operations and resolve reported issues promptly - Monitor uplinks/interfaces for errors to ensure connectivity for manufacturing applications - Maintain network hygiene (active/passive), handle escalations, and ensure device availability - Coordinate repairs, manage shift rosters, and maintain health checklists. **Compliance & Security** - Ensure network devices comply with ES security controls - Remediate audit and vulnerability findings - Maintain updated inventory and enforce hardening guidelines - Back up configurations to meet RTO objectives for BCP scenarios. **Incident & Change Management** - Lead critical incident resolution, perform RCA, and track preventive actions - Enforce change control processes, prevent unauthorized changes, and document all changes in ITSM - Review change plans and ensure SLA adherence. **Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery** - Participate in DR/BCP planning and work on BCP Process - Prepare spare devices to meet RTO in case of hardware failure. **Documentation** - Review and version-control critical documents - Incorporate any network changes into documentation - Ensure accessibility for the team when required. **Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification - Professional networking certifications preferred - 10–12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in networking (firewalls, switches, routers, LAN, proxy, load balancers) - Experience managing large IT infrastructure; manufacturing domain exposure is an advantage
