Roles and Responsibilities : • Ensure all allocated client’s payroll is processed accurately and timely. • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, input, calculations, and reporting. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees across multiple locations. • Process complex payroll calculations, including bonuses, commissions, and tax withholding. • Oversee salary changes, compensations, deductions, bonus, variable payouts and benefits to employees. • Stay updated on evolving payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements to ensure compliance. • Lead efforts to improve payroll processes, enhance system efficiency, and reduce errors. • Perform regular audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams, analysing payroll data and trends. • Prepare payroll reports for management and finance teams, analysing payroll data and trends. • Ensure 100% error free deliverables. • Taking care of statutory deductions precisely (Income Tax, PF, ESI, PT, LWF) and remittances of all statutory liabilities in time • Complies with all payroll related statutory returns • Knowledge on eTDS filing, Form 16 generation, TRACES • Conducting internal system and process health checks • Ensure the maintenance of maker and checker concept & follow the process/work flows • Updating on income tax and other state laws amendments and rules • Maintain employee payroll records data in system • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential • Preparation and follow process checklists • Client Management • Response to queries from employees within TAT, conduct payroll helpdesk • Audit Support and providing required details for Statutory / Internal Audits • Preparation of internal reports and provide all required information/data to reporting manager • Preparation of JVs and providing required information to client Job Requirements : • 1-9 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of challan generation and submission process. • Proficiency in managing statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, TDS calculation.
