Role & responsibilities • Dispense prescription medications accurately and in a timely manner. • Provide counselling to patients regarding the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions. • Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness based on patients' health conditions and medication profiles. • Maintain and manage inventory, including medication storage and control of expiration dates. • Monitor the effectiveness of medication therapy and make recommendations to healthcare providers as necessary. • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations. • Participate in patient education and health promotion programs. • Keep up-to-date with new medications, treatment protocols, and pharmacy practices. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D from an accredited institution. • Valid pharmacist license to practice in the region. • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and patient care. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
