Quality Engineer

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Coordinate / Supervise end to end manufacturing process to ensure product and process quality. • Expertise in handling suppliers / process. • Expertise in Hot Rolling, Fabrication and Surface coating / Hot Dip Galvanizing • Expertise in making detailed reports outlining performance, quality, and defect rates. • Document nonconformities immediately and recommend techniques for prompt resolution. • Assessed quality of products and compliance with tolerance standards by inspecting products, components, and materials. • Participating in all QA and production meetings with the manufacturing team. • TPI and Customer Coordinator with project status and inspection planning schedule. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelors degree in mechanical / production / Automobile / Metallurgy • Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality control and assurance, with experience in Solar projects preferred. • Strong knowledge of Steel making Process, quality control and assurance principles, tools, GD & T and documentation.
