Operations Management • Manage daily operations of the assigned department. • Ensure timely picking, packing, replenishment, and dispatch of customer orders. • Monitor adherence to order fulfillment SLAs and productivity targets. • Ensure departmental readiness throughout operating hours. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Inventory Management • Maintain inventory accuracy above defined company targets. • Monitor stock availability and prevent out-of-stock situations. • Conduct cycle counts and stock audits. • Investigate inventory variances and take corrective actions. • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices, especially for fresh and perishable products. Team Leadership • Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Associates. • Conduct daily briefings and shift handovers. • Manage staffing levels, shift planning, and manpower allocation. • Monitor attendance, productivity, and employee performance. • Build a culture of accountability, safety, and customer focus. Performance Management • Track and achieve departmental KPIs. • Analyze operational reports and implement action plans. • Manage productivity and labor cost within approved budgets. • Drive department performance through effective workforce management. Customer Experience • Ensure high order accuracy and product quality. • Minimize customer complaints related to missing, damaged, or expired products. • Support quick resolution of operational and customer service issues. Quality & Compliance • Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies. • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards. • Ensure proper storage practices and temperature controls where applicable. • Support internal and external audits.
