**Position Purpose** Research Scientist Logistics & Research Services is responsible for planning, coordination, and governance of research **sample logistics and agronomy research services** to support discovery, development, and regulatory studies for new active ingredients (AIs) in crop protection. The role ensures end-to-end delivery of compounds, formulated samples, and agronomy studies through effective cross-functional collaboration, CRO management, digital traceability, and adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Strategic Responsibilities - Remain at the cutting edge of knowledge of sample logistics and agronomy studies essential for the new a.i. development activity in crop protection through constant updating of knowledge on agronomy and new regulatory guidelines and own skill-sets Operational Responsibilities Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Responsibilities - Maintain indepth and uptodate knowledge of **sample logistics and agronomy sciences** relevant to crop protection development. - Support Agronomy Director on overarching Agronimic topics in the new molecule area of advanced projects - Proactively enhance personal scientific expertise and regulatory understanding to support strategic decisionmaking in PPM project 2. Operational Responsibilities *A*. Sample Logistics and Management - Coordinate with crossfunctional departments for the **preparation of formulated samples**, including quantification reports, sample requests, labeling, packing, and dispatch. - **Application of RET** or other formalities required for sample import in international destination. - Ensure timely and accurate **shipment of samples** to national and international trial locations. - Utilize **digital sample management systems** to ensure full traceability, inventory control, monitoring of sample movement, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. B. Study Coordination Activities - Coordinate the testing of new active ingredients for **agronomy studies** at domestic and international CRO facilities. - Plan and manage **sample requirements**, study timelines, and payments for phase 2 studies. - Monitor the progress of ongoing studies, ensuring alignment with approved protocols, regulatory expectations, and project timelines. - Review study conduct, support **data collection and analysis**, and generate scientifically sound insights to guide development decisions. - Identify scientific or technical challenges during study execution and **troubleshoot issues**, proposing appropriate solutions in collaboration with internal experts and CROs. C. Data Management and CrossFunctional Engagement - Compile, review, and interpret study data to support strategy and internal decisionmaking. - Prepare and present **study results, summaries, and scientific interpretations** to crossfunctional project teams. - Support multiple development projects and programs simultaneously, contributing to integrated regulatory and agronomy strategies. 3. Documentation and Knowledge Management - Accurately document experimental findings and study outcomes in **electronic laboratory notebooks (Signals or ARM)**, research reports, and internal technical documents. - Ensure proper archiving and filing of documents to support audits, and longterm knowledge retention. 4. Process Adherence and Continuous Improvement - Adhere strictly to all **safety, regulatory, information security, and quality standards** applicable to PPM research. - Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory expectations throughout study planning and execution. - Actively participate in **process improvement initiatives** under the guidance of the Director New Product Agronomy to enhance efficiency, data quality, and compliance robustness. 5. People and Collaboration Responsibilities - Drive personal and professional development through continuous learning initiatives within and outside the organization. - Collaborate effectively with team members, CROs, and crossfunctional stakeholders to ensure successful achievement of phase 2 objectives. - Contribute to a culture of scientific rigor, accountability, and crossfunctional teamwork. **Profile Requirements** **Educational Qualification** M.Sc / Ph.D in Science (eg Biology, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Agronomy, Environment science, Analytical chemistry, Environment chemistry or closely related field) from a reputed University / Institute with excellent academic credentials. **Experience** Minimum of 1-5 years of post-academic industrial research experience. **The Industry to be hired from** Agro Chemical companies, Contract Research Organization (CROs), Universities or Institutes
