**Position Purpose** The Chemical Engineer will be responsible to do Process Engineering for Flow Technology and lead the Pilot Team in scale up activities up to commercial scale **Key Responsibilities** Process Optimization & Development: Assessing current operations to identify bottlenecks and developing solutions that increase productivity at pilot scale Ensure on time delivery of assigned project in terms of: - On time delivery with target yield and quality. - Well versed in scale up / scale down modules - Having Expertise in Design of Experiments (DOEs) - Smooth scale-up up to KL/PP & Production Scale - Hands on experience in scale up & Engineering Calculations Design & Implementation: Designing, modifying, and testing new equipment and production procedures. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnosing, Troubleshooting, and resolving machinery or process malfunctions, often acting quickly to minimize downtime. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collecting data on process efficiency, costs, and budgets to prepare reports for senior management. Documentation & Training: Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training production staff on new procedures or equipment. Project Management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering projects. - Prepare technical documentation, reports, and manuals. Scale Up/Tech Transfer: - Scale up & Transfer the technology at KL/PP & Commercial Scale - Prepare required technical documents, MFRs & IOMs Compliance & Safety - Ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and safety standards. - Train operators and technicians on proper use of instrumentation systems. Profile Requirements Educational Qualification • Bachelors/Masters degree in chemical technology / Engineering, or related field Previous Experience • 12-16 Years of Industrial Experience. Industry to be hired from • Agro chemicals/fine chemicals/ pharma- API/ Specialty chemicals Functional Competencies • Experience in handling different types of Flow reactor • Experience in handling different types of Pumps • Expertise with Chemical process developments, Scale up & Tech Transfer. • Strong Process Chemistry Knowledge • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Well versed in engineering calculations • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage projects.
