Job description

1. Safety Induction for new joiners in coordination with HR team. 2. Daily Tool box talk of employees including casuals as per TBT plan. 3. Tool Box Talk before shut down/any modification work/critical work permit issuance. 4. Deliver class safety training as per annual training calendar of HR. 5. Organize departmental & plant complex mock drills as per calendar. 6. Weekly Firefighting demonstration drill and first-aider practical training program. 7. Organize monthly H&S committee meeting as per SOP. 8. Organize Safety Event as per annual calendar such as safety week celebrations, fire day and state safety days etc. and preparation of report & circulate the consolidated highlights. 9. Availability of various safety signage's or displays in entire complex as per nature of job.Role & responsibilities 1. H&S Inspections (SAF-F-07 check sheet) 2. Work Permit Inspection (SAF-SOP-07-F07) 3. Legal Inspections/Compliance as per SPARSH 4. Fire Extinguishers Inspections. 5. Fire Hydrant & Hose Reel Inspection. 6. Detectors & Fire Alarms Inspection. 7. Fire Bike Inspection 8. BA Sets Inspection 9. Emergency Shower & Eye Washer. 10. Emergency Almira Inspection 11. Lifting equipment & pressure vessels 12. Inspection of Lifting vehicles. 1. Reporting & capturing of all incidents as per set SOP. 2. Ensure preparation of incident intimation report (at OHC). 3. Preparation of Investigation report & corrective actions as per SOP. 4. Capturing & monitoring of closer of identified corrective actions. 13. Maintain sufficient stocks of PPEs, fire & safety equipment's. 1. Reporting & capturing of all incidents as per set SOP. 2. Ensure preparation of incident intimation report (at OHC). 3. Preparation of Investigation report & corrective actions as per SOP. 4. Capturing & monitoring of closer of identified corrective actions. 1. Completion of OHS objective & Target, programs & plans/H&S Projects (SYS-SOP-03-F01) Prepare Monthly Safety Report and circulate to all concerned. 2. Prepare/update safety leading & lagging indicators sheet. 3. Updates on TBT records, safety observations report, SAE round report. 4. Presentation of monthly safety report, Panchayat meeting PPT, H&S committee meeting MOM, mock drill report etc. 5. Any other Safety related tasks assigned by HOD and/or complex head. 6. Self initiatives taken to improve safety maturity level of plant.
