About Position: We are seeking an Expert SAP ABAP Consultant to lead the design, development, and enhancement of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in ABAP programming, performance tuning, and custom development, along with experience in SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and Fiori/UI5. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on coding experience, and the ability to collaborate with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Role: SAP ABAP Consultant • Location: Pune • Experience: 10 to 14 Yrs • Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: • Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows. • Perform debugging, analysis, and troubleshooting of batch jobs, function modules, reports, and background processing issues. • Develop object-oriented ABAP solutions using modern SAP development standards. • Implement and optimize ABAP code for high performance and scalability. • Work extensively with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. • Develop and enhance CDS Views, AMDP programs, and HANA-optimized solutions. • Build and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services for modern user experiences. • Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and migration of legacy custom developments. • Implement User Exits, BADI, BTE, Enhancement Framework, and implicit/explicit enhancements. • Develop SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and output management solutions. • Build and support SAP workflow solutions based on business requirements. • Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex production support issues. • Perform code reviews and enforce SAP development standards and best practices. • Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, and support activities. • Create and maintain technical design documents, development specifications, and support documentation. Expertise You'll Bring: • 10 to 14 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. • Strong expertise in SAP ABAP programming, debugging, and custom development. • Extensive experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments. • Hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA concepts including CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA Native SQL. • Strong development experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 and OData services. • Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and SAP enhancement techniques. • Experience implementing User Exits, BADI, BTE, Enhancement Framework, and custom enhancements. • Strong knowledge of SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts, and output management. • Experience developing and supporting SAP workflows. • Strong understanding of database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning techniques. • Expertise in code quality reviews, performance analysis, and optimization methodologies. • Experience performing ABAP Unit Testing and ensuring application reliability. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. • Ability to work collaboratively with functional consultants and business stakeholders. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementation, upgrade, and transformation programs.
