SAP Cloud Application Developer (CAP + Fiori/UI5) - Node.js/Java

Job description

Key Skills: Cloud Application, SAP UI5, Java, Node.js, Rest API Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and develop backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP). • Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications that consume CAP-based OData or REST services. • Implement service logic, validations, and integrations with cloud-native and domain-driven design principles. • Ensure application scalability, security, and performance on SAP BTP runtimes. • Collaborate with architects, functional teams, and DevOps teams across the full SDLC, including deployment and release activities. Skills Required: • 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in full stack SAP cloud application development with CAP and SAPUI5. • Hands-on development with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and backend service implementation. • Backend development experience in either Node.js or Java (including business logic and REST-based API design). • SAP Fiori application development using SAPUI5, including MVC concepts (controllers, views, fragments) and custom controls. • Deployment and operations on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Neo, including MTA-based deployments, CI/CD practices, and Git-based source control. Good to Have: • Exposure to SAP Integration Suite and/or event-driven architectures. • Understanding of SAP security concepts such as OAuth and role-based access control. Education: Relevant degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
