SDET QA Engineer

Job description

Key Skills: Software Testing, Quality Engineering, Java Script, SQL, Python Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and implement test strategies for complex data pipelines and business logic • Build and evolve automated testing frameworks for batch and streaming data workflows • Define and enforce quality standards across data validation, test coverage, and CI/CD practices • Partner with engineering teams to improve data reliability and prevent data issues • Lead quality initiatives, conduct code and test reviews, and mentor team members as needed Skills Required: • 6 to 9 years of relevant experience in data quality engineering, software testing, or data engineering • Strong hands-on experience in quality engineering and software testing for data-centric systems • Deep proficiency in SQL and Python for validating large datasets and complex transformations • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, or similar data platforms and orchestration tools • Proven ability to build scalable automated data testing frameworks and support CI/CD-driven delivery Good to Have: • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave • Exposure to AWS or other cloud environments • Familiarity with data quality tools such as Deequ or Great Expectations Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/work experience
