Key Responsibilities New Construction & Prototype Development • Develop 2D and 3D site feasibility studies for proposed hospitality developments across multiple land parcels throughout the United States. • Analyze zoning constraints, parking requirements, fire lane access, circulation, setbacks, and egress requirements using publicly available municipal and jurisdictional records. • Create conceptual site plans showcasing prototypical hotel layouts adapted to varying site conditions and development opportunities. • Produce architectural massing studies, exterior concepts, and development graphics that communicate owner economics, operational efficiency, and brand positioning. • Develop presentation packages illustrating how proposed hospitality projects will appear from various street views and arrival experiences to support municipal approvals, lender presentations, and owner pitches. • Assist leadership teams in evaluating development opportunities through conceptual architectural planning and visualization studies. • Support prototype refinement efforts through architectural diagrams, planning studies, and exterior concept evolution. Hospitality Renovation & Conversion Projects • Create architectural visualization studies for hospitality renovation, repositioning, and conversion projects. • Develop exterior faade concepts and adaptive reuse strategies for existing hotel buildings. • Produce before-and-after transformation studies used for owner presentations, franchise development, sales initiatives, and investment opportunities. • Superimpose proposed faade enhancements, branding elements, signage packages, and architectural upgrades onto existing building photography, drone imagery, and elevations. • Communicate conversion potential through compelling visual storytelling and architectural presentation graphics. Architectural Documentation & Coordination • Assist in transforming Design Development (DD) drawing sets into coordinated Construction Document (CD) level architectural packages. • Support architectural drafting, detailing, consultant coordination, redlines, and drawing production efforts. • Collaborate with architects, project managers, consultants, procurement teams, and executive leadership across hospitality projects. • Revise drawings, renderings, and visual materials based on stakeholder, ownership, and brand feedback. • Maintain organized project documentation, digital asset libraries, and architectural workflows. Visualization & Presentation Development • Utilize SketchUp, Bluebeam, Photoshop, AutoCAD/Revit, and related visualization tools to communicate architectural opportunities and development potential. • Produce faade studies, architectural diagrams, conceptual overlays, and presentation graphics for hospitality development initiatives. • Support marketing and sales initiatives by creating compelling visuals that communicate brand identity, renovation impact, and new construction opportunities. • Stay current with hospitality design trends, visualization technologies, rendering software, and architectural presentation techniques. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Architecture, or a related field. • Strong architectural portfolio showcasing new construction studies, exterior visualization, faade modernization, adaptive reuse, and architectural documentation work. • Proficiency in: o SketchUp o Bluebeam Revu o AutoCAD and/or Revit o Adobe Photoshop • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, site planning, building elevations, faade composition, and hospitality development workflows. • Ability to develop conceptual site studies and architectural solutions using existing surveys, building plans, site constraints, and development parameters. • Ability to support Design Development (DD) through Construction Document (CD) coordination phases. • Strong understanding of architectural scale, proportion, circulation, faade materiality, and presentation graphics. • Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience working on hospitality new construction, prototype development, renovation, or conversion projects. • Familiarity with U.S. hospitality brands, PIP workflows, and franchise development processes. • Experience preparing architectural presentation materials for ownership groups, municipalities, lenders, or investment opportunities. • Experience supporting DD-to-CD architectural documentation phases. • Experience collaborating with international teams and cross-functional stakeholders. • Understanding of hotel operational planning, owner economics, and hospitality development strategy.
