Senior Executive - Techno Commercial Order Booking

**Role & responsibilities** 1. Responsible for techno-commercial order booking of pumps in the SAP system upon receipt and review of customer purchase orders. 2. Ensure timely issuance and circulation of order acknowledgements/order acceptance to customers through SAP after verification of purchase orders and order booking. 3. Coordinate and follow up with Planning, Production, Purchase, and other internal departments to resolve material shortages and ensure timely execution of orders. 4. Prepare and maintain monthly MIS reports covering order intake, order status, on-time delivery performance and other key operational metrics. 5. Plan and allocate pumps as per customer requirements based on packing readiness and issue dispatch instructions to the dispatch and logistics teams. 6. Monitor daily order priorities, urgent customer requirements and delivery commitments, ensuring timely communication and updates to overseas customers and country offices. 7. Ensure achievement of monthly export sales and dispatch targets in line with business plans and customer commitments. 8. Organize and conduct bi-weekly review meetings with export countries/customers to discuss order status, OOH statements, sales targets, quality concerns, technical/commercial issues and project execution matters for effective coordination. 9. Provide techno-commercial support to overseas customers, country offices, and internal technical support teams to facilitate smooth execution of export orders. 10. Coordinate with Quality Management (QM), Test Field, Inspection Agencies and customers for TPI activities, ensuring timely completion of inspections, issuance of inspection reports (IRN), and dispatch clearance. 11. Manage export order execution from receipt of customer order through to final dispatch, ensuring adherence to committed delivery schedules. 12. Handle project orders with close attention to contractual requirements, milestone tracking, documentation, customer communications and delivery commitments. 13. Ensure compliance with applicable Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC) terms, payment conditions and export documentation requirements during order execution. 14. Coordinate with logistics, freight forwarders and commercial teams for shipment planning, export documentation and timely dispatch of export consignments. Act as a single point of contact for customers on order status, delivery schedules, inspection activities, documentation and shipment-related matters. **Preferred candidate profile** **Requirement profile:** Formal education: Professional experience: In years: Defined competencies: B.E Mechanical; Diploma in Mechanical Engg. Experience in the Pump, Engineering, Process Equipment, Industrial Manufacturing. 3 to 5 years for B.E./B.Tech. candidates. 5 to 7 years for Diploma candidates. Functional Skills - Good knowledge of pump products and their applications. - Proficiency in SAP (SD Module) and MS Office, especially Excel. - Knowledge of export order execution processes from order receipt to dispatch. - Understanding of project order management and milestone tracking. - Knowledge of Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC) terms, export documentation, and international trade practices. - Knowledge of commercial terms, dispatch procedures, logistics coordination, and shipment planning. - Ability to coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Test Field, and Logistics teams for timely order execution. - Knowledge of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities and inspection documentation. - Ability to review order backlogs, delivery schedules and customer commitments.
