Senior Mainframe Developer (IBM z/OS)

Job description

Key Skills: Mainframe Cobol VSAM JCL DB2, CICS, COBOL Roles and Responsibilities: • Deliver mainframe applications by understanding business flow for MES and Supply Chain domains. • Perform technical design for application and database components, then implement stable, well-structured code. • Develop and extend COBOL programs for transactional and batch processing in an IBM z/OS environment. • Support API enablement and ensure reliable integration of mainframe services. • Handle incident and problem solving, including root-cause analysis, bug fixing, and workaround implementation. Skills Required: • Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar IBM z/OS mainframe development role • CICS and COBOL development on IBM z/OS • VSAM and DB2 database development and data handling • JCL for job control and batch execution in z/OS • Transactional and batch application development experience Good to Have: • Mainframe development experience Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
