We are looking for an experienced and highly ethical professional to lead the Ethics & Vigilance function at our Barbil Mining Division. The role will be responsible for strengthening ethical business practices, conducting investigations, managing vigilance activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a culture of integrity across the organization. Ethics & Compliance • Drive the implementation of the Company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. • Promote ethical behavior and integrity across all business functions. • Conduct ethics awareness programs and compliance training for employees and contract workforce. • Monitor compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and governance standards. Vigilance & Investigations • Lead vigilance activities related to fraud prevention, misconduct, corruption, theft, conflict of interest, and policy violations. • Conduct confidential investigations into complaints received through whistleblower channels and other reporting mechanisms. • Gather evidence, interview stakeholders, and prepare investigation reports with recommendations. • Coordinate with HR, Legal, Security, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams during investigations. Risk Assessment & Prevention • Identify areas vulnerable to unethical practices, fraud, and operational risks. • Develop preventive vigilance measures and internal controls. • Monitor vendor, contractor, and third-party compliance from an ethics and vigilance perspective. • Recommend corrective and preventive actions based on findings. Reporting & Governance • Prepare periodic ethics and vigilance reports for senior management. • Track closure of investigation findings and compliance actions. • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all investigation records. • Support management in creating a transparent and accountable work culture. Stakeholder Management • Liaise with site leadership, department heads, security teams, and external agencies as required. • Provide guidance on ethical concerns and conflict resolution matters. • Assist in developing policies and procedures related to ethics, vigilance, and whistleblower management. Preferred candidate profile • 15+ years of experience in Ethics, Vigilance, Corporate Security, Compliance, Audit, Investigation, or related functions. • Experience in Mining, Metals, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Power, Cement, or Heavy Industries preferred. • Strong knowledge of investigation techniques, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance practices. • Excellent analytical, interviewing, report-writing, and problem-solving skills. • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment. • Ability to handle sensitive matters independently. • Ex-Servicemen will be preferred
