Senior Performance Test Engineer

Key Skills: Performance Testing, Performance Engineering, JMeter, LoadRunner, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, Scalability Testing, Grafana, Datadog, AWS, Azure, GCP, Monitoring, Observability, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AI-Assisted Productivity Tools, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code, Copilot Roles & Responsibilities: • Design and execute performance test strategies across web, API, and backend systems. • Build and maintain reusable test scripts and workloads using enterprise performance testing tools. • Analyze application behavior under load and identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers. • Use monitoring and observability tools to correlate test results with system metrics and service health. • Partner with engineering teams to validate scalability targets and support release readiness for high-traffic systems. Experience Required: • 10 to 13 years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering for enterprise applications. • Expertise with JMeter and LoadRunner for load, stress, and endurance testing. • Experience with Grafana and Datadog for metrics analysis and system observability. • Experience working across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments with performance-focused validation. Good to Have: • AppDynamics, Prometheus, Dynatrace, and familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude Code, or Copilot. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
