Senior QA Engineer

Job description

Key Skills: Java, Playwright Automation, QA, Selenium, Automation, Retail Roles and Responsibilities: • Design and own automated test frameworks across API, UI, and end-to-end integration layers for merchandising and pricing platforms. • Build and maintain automation suites for API and UI testing, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for commit and deploy validation. • Lead test design for distributed, event-driven systems, including resilience and load/performance testing. • Define and track quality metrics such as automation coverage, test stability, defect leakage, and release readiness. • Mentor junior QA engineers through test code reviews and technical guidance to raise the bar on test engineering practices. Skills Required: • 6+ years of quality engineering / test automation experience with strong emphasis on API and UI automation; 3+ years hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Selenium-based UI test automation • Playwright for UI automation • Java for test automation development • QA automation and CI/CD-embedded automated testing Good to Have: • Retail / merchandising and pricing domain experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
