Position **Senior Resident – Anaesthesia** Department Anaesthesia Reports To Consultant / Head of Department – Anaesthesia Qualification - MBBS from a recognized institution. - MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized university. - Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration. Experience - Fresh MD/DNB graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of experience in Anaesthesia. Key Responsibilities - Administer general, regional, and local anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures. - Conduct pre-anaesthetic evaluation and formulate anaesthesia plans. - Monitor patients intra-operatively and manage anaesthesia-related complications. - Provide post-operative care, including pain management and patient monitoring. - Manage critically ill patients in ICU and emergency settings as required. - Respond promptly to emergency situations, including trauma and code blue calls. - Assist consultants in complex surgical procedures and high-risk cases. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and anaesthesia records. - Ensure adherence to NABH, infection control, patient safety, and quality protocols. - Participate in departmental academic activities, CMEs, audits, and clinical meetings. - Supervise and guide junior residents, interns, and nursing staff when required. - Perform duties as per the departmental roster, including night shifts, weekends, and emergency calls.
