Snowflake Data Architect

Job description

**Key Skills:** Data architecture, Airflow, Data Engineering, Python, Snowflake, DBT, Architect, SQL, SQL Based data engineering **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Independently design and implement Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, RBAC, and workload management. - Configure and optimize Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, clustering, and Time Travel. - Build robust dimensional and normalized data models, including Medallion (Bronze-Silver-Gold) layers for scalable pipelines. - Develop and manage end-to-end transformations and automation using dbt and Python, orchestrated with Airflow (or ADF). - Implement CI/CD workflows and automated deployment practices; integrate Snowflake with enterprise systems and REST/SOAP APIs. **Skills Required:** - 10 - 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 6 years dedicated to Snowflake - Snowflake architecture, implementation, administration, optimization, and troubleshooting - Data engineering and data architecture experience, including dimensional/normalized modeling and Medallion layers - Python and SQL proficiency for automation and data operations - dbt for transformations and Airflow for orchestration; experience with pipeline reliability, performance, and governance Good to Have: - Experience with SQL-based data engineering practices and advanced SQL development **Education:** B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / BCA or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
