Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

Job description

Key Skills: Java, Backend Development Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Kotlin. • Build and maintain microservices with Spring Boot or Ktor. • Design data access layers and integrate with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis/Cassandra). • Apply design patterns and clean architecture principles to keep services maintainable and testable. • Containerize services with Docker and support reliable deployments. Skills Required: • 3 - 5 years of professional experience building backend services and APIs. • Java and Kotlin for backend development. • REST API / RESTful APIs and microservices development. • Spring Boot or Ktor for building backend services. • SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis/Cassandra), Docker, and coroutines for asynchronous processing. Good to Have: • Backend development experience across service-oriented architectures. Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
