This role partners closely with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, product availability, and efficient supply chain operations. The analyst will leverage data analytics and digital tools to improve supply chain visibility, optimize planning processes, automate reporting activities, and support strategic decision-making. The role will also be responsible for enhancing existing planning tools and developing new solutions that provide greater visibility and insights across the global supply chain network. The IPD Analyst will work under the direction of the Senior Supply Chain Manager, WWIPD, based in Switzerland. II. Key Responsibilities Supply Planning • Analyze supply, inventory, demand, and logistics data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities. • Support end-to-end supply planning activities across the IPD portfolio. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align supply plans with business requirements. • Support monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. • Conduct supply risk assessments and scenario analysis to support decision-making. • Monitor key planning metrics and recommend corrective actions when needed. Inventory Management • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment requirements across the network. • Identify excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions. • Optimize inventory levels while maintaining target service levels. • Analyze inventory health and develop reports and dashboards for management review. • Support inventory reduction and working capital improvement initiatives. Supply Chain Analytics & Digital Solutions • Collaborate with the WWISD Supply Chain Analytics team to deliver analytical solutions and decision-support tools. • Perform scenario and "what-if" analyses to evaluate supply chain risks and opportunities. • Generate, automate, and maintain supply chain performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards. • Develop and enhance tools that improve visibility of inventory, supply, production, and customer service performance. • Build new analytics solutions using Power BI, Power Query, SQL, VBA, and other digital tools. • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve planning efficiency. • Support implementation and adoption of supply chain planning systems and digital solutions. • Ensure the integrity of SAP master data and promote best practices in SAP utilization to improve global supply visibility and planning accuracy. Continuous Improvement • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain processes. • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend sustainable solutions. • Leverage data analytics to improve operational performance and decision-making. • Develop business cases for process improvements, automation opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives. • Support strategic supply chain projects, Kaizen events, and business reviews. • Challenge existing processes and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve performance. III. Education • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field. IV. Experience • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, Operations Planning, or related Supply Chain functions. • Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools is highly preferred. • Experience supporting process improvement or automation initiatives is considered a strong asset. V. Required Knowledge & Skills Technical Skills • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including: • Pivot Tables • Advanced formulas • Power Query • VBA / Macros • Proficiency in Power BI dashboard development and data visualization. • Experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Experience with Power Automate is a plus. • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar planning platforms. • Understanding of Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Production Planning, and Supply Chain KPIs.
