Underwriting Manager - Engineering

Job description

Role & responsibilities • Monitor the performance of products for Engineering Operational & Construction LOB constantly to ensure business targets are achieved • Create timely, accurate underwriting and technical management information / statistics as required by internal & external stakeholders to monitor portfolio movement • Drive the implementation of guidance/ advice on holding / shrinking / growing products across Regions to ensure adherence to the defined loss ratios • Perform Portfolio Strategy Management constantly to ensure continued viability of portfolios • Support branch underwriters with necessary product knowledge and guide them to proactively engage with customers to drive higher customer satisfaction • Provide technical underwriting guidance and direction on Engineering Operational and construction LOB to sales and underwriting teams as well as intermediaries
