Underwriting Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting - **Conduct detailed analysis of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.** - **Perform ratio calculations (liquidity, solvency, profitability, efficiency) to assess financial health.** - **Evaluate financial parameters such as ROE, ROA, EBITDA margins, debt-equity ratios, and working capital cycles.** - **Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.** Equity Market & Investment Advisory - **Monitor equity share markets, analyze sectoral performance, and identify investment opportunities.** - **Provide valuation insights using DCF, P/E, and other models.** - **Support portfolio management decisions with risk-return analysis and market trend forecasting.** Risk Management & Underwriting - **Assess and manage financial risks in domestic and international markets.** - **Conduct export underwriting, evaluating trade risks and compliance with global standards.** - **Collaborate with insurance firms (Tata AIG, ICICI Lombard, Atradius, Coface) to manage underwriting processes.** - **Evaluate creditworthiness using CIBIL scores and other credit scoring models.** Required Skills & Competencies - **Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in ratio analysis.** - **Deep understanding of equity markets, investment strategies, and valuation techniques.** - **Knowledge of export underwriting and credit risk assessment.** - **Familiarity with CIBIL score evaluation and its impact on lending decisions.** - **Ability to integrate legal and financial perspectives for strategic decision-making.** - **Effective communication and presentation skills.** - **Risk-taking abilities balanced with sound judgment.** **Interested candidates kindly share resume at rashmika.manjrekar@sbigeneral.in and Shivang.kalra@sbigeneral.in**
