RECRUITMENT DRIVE: VEHICLE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (VED) SPECIALISTS Job Location: Jaipur – R&D Centre Drive Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Experience Brackets: 3–9 Years (Engineer / Senior Engineer) | 10–16 Years (Technical Lead / Program Manager) Job Purpose Statement We are seeking dynamic powertrain and vehicle engineering professionals to join our Vehicle Engineering Department (VED). Depending on your experience bracket, you will either execute deep-dive technical deliveries or spearhead project teams to advance next-generation Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), Electric Vehicles (EV), and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) platforms. This recruitment drive aims to onboard talent capable of optimizing full-vehicle architecture, structural durability, packaging, and vehicle dynamics within stringent Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters. Core Domain Tracks Your application will be aligned with one of the following specialist pillars based on your expertise: 1. Structural Design (Chassis, Suspension & Brakes) • Chassis Design: Visualizing and generating feasible design concepts in 3D/2D for structural components such as frames, swingarms, stands, and footrests. Maintain tolerance stacks resulting in gaps/flush variation on vehicles. • Suspension Design: Component-level design for suspension parts (Spring, front fork, shock absorber, and damper characteristics) along with front/rear wheel assembly layout check and finalization. • Technical Tools: Advanced surfacing, 3D modeling, and 2D layout drafting in CATIA V5/V6 and Teamcenter. 2. Vehicle Integration • Responsible for vehicle integration CAD layout analysis, packaging, gap/clearance studies, static/dynamic interference analysis, and regulation check studies. • Define full-vehicle architecture, hardpoints, ergonomics, suspension geometry, steering envelopes, and electrical/high-voltage system packaging. • Manage DMU checks for serviceability, manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA/DFS), and pilot batch releases across cross-functional teams. 3. Simulation & Performance Optimization • Structural & Modal Analysis: Execute quick FEA checks, structural, modal, fatigue, and vibration analysis using HyperMesh and ANSYS . • Thermodynamic & System Simulation: Apply 1D engine thermodynamic, acoustic, and fluid dynamic principles utilizing tools like GT-Power (GT-Suite) and MATLAB . • Optimize real-world load paths, manage Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), and establish durability load cycles from road-load data logs. Key Accountabilities For the 3–9 Years Bracket: • Execute 3D modeling, layout check, simulation data processing, or physical validation independently. • Prepare concrete daily plans, analyze engineering failures using root-cause methodologies (DFMEA, RCA, 8D), and generate formal technical documentation. • Partner with manufacturing suppliers to close manufacturing feasibilities (DFM/DFA). For the 10–16 Years Bracket: • Lead complex, multi-objective engine and vehicle layout trials, managing master schedules, supplier interactions, and project budgets/milestones. • Represent specific powertrain and vehicle segments to internal cross-functional teams (Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing) and external global technology partners. • Build domain expertise, mentor subordinates, drive process maturity, and generate engineering Intellectual Property (IP). Threshold Candidate Requirements • Academic Background: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Thermal, Mechatronics, or Solid Mechanics Engineering. • Technical Expertise: Fluent command over CATIA V5/V6, HyperMesh, ANSYS, GT-Power, and MATLAB . • Preferred Industry: 2-Wheeler (2W) / 4-Wheeler (4W) Automotive R&D. • Core Competencies: Strong command of powertrain and vehicle dynamics fundamentals, fluent English communication skills, a multi-cultural working approach, and a highly proactive attitude toward problem-solving under aggressive timelines. Evaluation Process • On-the-Spot Selection: Candidates will complete both technical rounds and HR evaluations on the spot, with final selections made the same day.
