The role requires strong commercial judgment, negotiation capability, and expertise in cross-border legal frameworks. Key domain experience Total experience 15~20 years of experience in Corporate legal / banking / financial services legal roles. Domain exposure Hands-on experience in: • Contract drafting and negotiations (MSA, SLA, vendor agreements) • Litigation management • Cross-border legal frameworks Key Responsibilities 1. Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management (drafting, review, negotiation) 2. Independently handle client and vendor legal negotiations 3. Identify and mitigate legal risks in contracts, SLAs, and business models 4. Manage litigation, disputes, and statutory notices 5. Ensure strong legal coverage on matters like data privacy, IPR etc. 6. Provide legal advisory on International contracts and arbitration, DTAA and transfer pricing 7. Support third-party risk management (TPRM) through contract governance 8. Provide legal inputs into enterprise risk and governance reporting Key Performance Indicators: • Contracts are risk-optimized with minimal legal exposure • Strong negotiation outcomes protecting MGS legal interests • Reduced instances of litigation and legal escalations • Legal risks are proactively identified and managed Qualifications Mandatory Preferred Qualifications LLB / BL LLM Certifications -- CIPP (Data Privacy) Arbitration & Conciliation Internal business laws Skills & Competencies Technical • Advanced contract drafting and negotiation • Legal risk assessment • Regulatory interpretation Behavioral • Strong negotiation and influencing skills • High judgment and decision-making ability • Ability to operate independently at senior level • Executive stakeholder management Ideal candidate profile A seasoned legal professional who can independently represent MGS in complex negotiations and act as a strategic legal advisor to leadership.
