Job description

Position: OT Technician Location : Electronic City Experience: 1+ Years Department: Operation Theatre Key Responsibilities • Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and consumables are ready and sterile. • Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures. • Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols at all times. • Check the functionality of OT equipment and report any malfunctions promptly. • Arrange, count, and handle surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures. • Assist in patient positioning and transfer while ensuring patient safety and comfort. • Clean, disinfect, and prepare the operation theatre after each surgery. • Maintain accurate records of OT supplies, instruments, and equipment. • Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per hospital guidelines. • Comply with all hospital policies, quality standards, and safety protocols. Qualification • Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or an equivalent recognized qualification. Experience • Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT Technician in a multispecialty hospital.
