Job description

**Position:** OT Technician Location : Electronic City **Experience:** 1+ Years **Department:** Operation Theatre Key Responsibilities - Prepare the operation theatre before surgical procedures by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and consumables are ready and sterile. - Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures. - Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols at all times. - Check the functionality of OT equipment and report any malfunctions promptly. - Arrange, count, and handle surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures. - Assist in patient positioning and transfer while ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Clean, disinfect, and prepare the operation theatre after each surgery. - Maintain accurate records of OT supplies, instruments, and equipment. - Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per hospital guidelines. - Comply with all hospital policies, quality standards, and safety protocols. Qualification - Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or an equivalent recognized qualification. Experience - Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT Technician in a multispecialty hospital.
