The role involves monitoring material requirements, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support production schedules. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and assisting in the optimization of inventory turnover. The associate will collaborate with production planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to streamline material flow and reduce shortages or excess stock. Additional tasks may include assisting in data analysis, preparing reports on material usage and performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in material and inventory management processes. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. - Candidates should possess skills in Materials Management to coordinate material flow, sourcing, and handling across the supply chain. - Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making for material and inventory optimization. - Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and operational requirements. - Relevant experience in automotive or manufacturing environments is beneficial. - Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems is preferred. - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are important. - A diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
