**Role & responsibilities** **Data analytics to generate business insights** Analyze financial & operational data to identify value leakages for CML Control over key business metrics (e.g. plant performance, input material costing, inventory positions) Red flags and opportunities in business dynamics -- to enhance EBITDA and key operating metrics **Executive reporting to CML Leadership CEO & CFO** Provide actionable insights & reports to CFO / CEO (flagging gaps / opportunities on daily, weekly & monthly basis) Call out problems / gaps in daily operations, weekly planning & month level EBITDA – correspondingly lay out potential business solution options against problems **Planning, Monitoring & Control of key business initiatives, in collaboration with CML & EIL** –Monitor and control monthly plant performance, production & dispatch plans – track adherence, flag deviations and drive course correction –Project management of key CML initiatives – lay out challenges & fall-outs in execution / timelines, and track to closure –Responsible for setting up & driving weekly CEO Business Reviews for CML –Work closely with CML Planning Officer, Plant Heads, Procurement Head – to ensure smooth business operations | Push necessary people in case of drops/delays **Preferred candidate profile** –**Education:** Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Metallurgy) + MBA –**Data & Communication:** adept in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; strong at presentation –**Business sense:** able to correlate data to profitability drivers (exposure in any business function) –**Problem solving:** logical mindset; has held roles involving pressure & day to day challenges –**Planning & control:** good at planning, with a strong eye on detail –**Stakeholder management:** strong at collaborating and can be assertive for CML interest
