JOB DESCRIPTION I. Job Title Deputy Manager/Manager - Medical Quality Reporting Supervisor Medical Superintendent - Medical Administration II. JOB PURPOSE To support the hospital in quality improvement activities. III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core Responsibilities: Patient / Customer Care • To comply with the quality process & policies of the respective area. Job Knowledge • To demonstrate effective application of technical & professional knowledge. Process Orientation / Documentation • Coordination for JCI Committees • Coordination of NABH Committees meetings as per the calendar • Review Minutes of Council meetings • Ensure effectiveness of committee meetings. • Provide feedback to operations/clinical departments. • Collation & Submission of monthly reports & dashboard. • Preparation of action taken reports on various indicator. • Annual updating of policies and manuals • Oversee Accreditations, Surveillance and re-accreditations in various specialties. Accreditations: NABH & JCI • Support the planning and implementation of all requirements of accreditations Audits & QI projects • Carry out routine audits of clinical areas / departments. • Provide feedback to departments. • Support and implement QI projects. • Closure of Non-conformities. • Internal Audits as per NABH/JCI are conducted • To ensure continued compliance to closure submitted in the previous accreditation audit • Ensure passive and active medical documents audit • To ensure SLA monitoring. Quality Assurance • Management of serious untoward incidents, complaints, issues of poor clinical performance and to promote patient safety. • RCA of Incident reporting, adverse incidents followed by corrective action and implementation of Preventive action. Medical Policies and Standards • Dissemination, Implementation, Training of Organization policies and regular audits. Clinical indicators and Performance indicator • To support the development, periodic review and improvement of NABH/JCI Performance indicators. • Collation of data along with RCA & CAPA People Orientation • To demonstrate professional & courteous behavior to patient & co-workers. Cost & Revenue • To operate within budget cost. • Budget for Quality is prepared as per the requirement and expenditure Discipline • To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices. • Willingness to perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the reporting manager.
