We are looking for a proactive and execution-focused Packing Supervisor to manage daily packaging operations, ensuring quality, productivity, and adherence to food safety standards. **Job Summary** The Packing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end packaging operations, ensuring daily production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The role requires effective coordination with cross-functional teams, manpower management, and continuous improvement of packaging processes. **Key Responsibilities** **Production & Packaging Operations** - Execute daily packing plans as per the production schedule. - Supervise assortment packing, single packs, multipacks, and batch coding activities. - Ensure correct SKU configuration, pack composition, and labeling as per approved Bill of Materials (BOM). - Verify batch coding, manufacturing & expiry dates, and packaging artwork before production commencement. - Monitor packaging line performance to achieve daily production targets with minimum downtime. - Support line changeovers and ensure First-Time-Right execution. **Operational Excellence** - Ensure packaging materials are available before line startup. - Minimize packaging material wastage through effective monitoring and process control. - Improve line productivity, utilization, and overall equipment efficiency. **Quality & Compliance** - Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, GMP, Food Safety, Hygiene, and Quality standards. - Maintain 5S standards across the packing area. - Verify product quality and packaging integrity throughout the production process. **Team Management** - Supervise and manage a workforce of approximately **35–45 operators and helpers per shift**. - Plan manpower deployment based on production priorities. - Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and skill development of team members. - Train operators on SOPs, GMP, safety practices, and packaging standards. **Experience** - **3–6 years** of experience in packaging/production operations within FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing industries. - Experience in managing packaging lines and shop-floor operations. - Experience in manpower handling and production documentation is preferred.
