Job description

• Recruitment and Selection Recruit doctors, nurses, technicians, pharmacists, administrative staff, and support workers. • Workforce Planning – Ensure the right number and type of employees are available in different departments and shifts. • Training and Development – Organize induction, orientation, skill development, safety training, and continuous professional development. • Performance Management – Set performance standards, conduct appraisals, provide feedback, and identify training needs. • Compensation and Benefits – Manage salaries, incentives, overtime, leave, insurance, and other employee benefits. • Employee Relations – Handle employee grievances, conflicts, complaints, and disciplinary matters. • Legal and Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with labour laws, healthcare regulations, licensing, credentialing, and workplace policies. • Occupational Health and Safety – Maintain a safe workplace and address risks such as infections, injuries, and occupational hazards. • Employee Well-being – Address employee stress, burnout, workload, work-life balance, and overall well-being. • Employee Retention and Motivation – Develop strategies to retain skilled staff through recognition, rewards, career growth, and promotion opportunities. • HR Records Management – Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, payroll, qualifications, and performance information. • Organizational Development – Support teamwork, leadership development, organizational change, and improvement initiatives. • Emergency Workforce Management – Ensure adequate staffing and develop contingency plans during pandemics, disasters, and other emergencies. • Policy Development – Develop and implement HR policies related to recruitment, attendance, leave, conduct, safety, and employee benefits. • Supporting Quality of Patient Care – Ensure competent and motivated employees are available to provide safe and effective healthcare services.
